Privacy Policy

Pourbound is an independent discovery and itinerary-planning website for wineries, breweries, tasting rooms and events, currently focused on the Lodi, California region. Pourbound is based in Lodi, California. You can reach us at hello@pourbound.com.

Anonymous usage analytics. We run privacy-friendly, first-party analytics to understand how the site is used — for example which business profiles are viewed and which links (directions, websites, reservations, phone) are tapped. These analytics use a random, anonymous identifier stored in your browser's session storage, which disappears when you close the tab. We do not use cookies for analytics, and we do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, precise location, or any other personally identifiable information through our analytics.

For Businesses inquiry form. If you choose to contact us through the For Businesses form, we collect the information you voluntarily submit: your name, business name, email address, phone number (optional), inquiry type, and message. We use this information only to respond to your inquiry and manage our business relationship with you. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it for analytics.

Itineraries. “My Day” itineraries are saved only in your own browser's local storage on your device. They are not transmitted to or stored on our servers.

Pourbound is hosted on Lovable, which provides site hosting and site-level analytics (such as visitor counts, pages viewed, approximate country, and device type). Our database and email delivery are provided by Supabase-based infrastructure. These providers process data on our behalf in order to operate the site.

Pourbound links to external websites and services — including business websites, reservation platforms, maps and directions, and phone calls — that are operated by third parties. When you follow one of these links or place a call, you leave Pourbound and the destination's own privacy policy and practices apply. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any business or service you visit. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites.

Pourbound does not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or analytics cookies. Because we do not set non-essential cookies, no cookie consent banner is required. If this ever changes, we will update this policy before enabling them.

If you are a California resident, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you have provided to us (for example, through the For Businesses form). To make a request, email us at hello@pourbound.com. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Anonymous analytics records are retained to help us understand site usage over time. Inquiry form submissions are kept for as long as needed to respond to and manage your inquiry, after which they may be deleted or archived.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Pourbound after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
